Wendy Mitchell is a strategic leader and organization builder with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations strengthen governance, navigate change, build partnerships, and create lasting social impact.
Her career spans the nonprofit, association, corporate, and philanthropic sectors, where she has successfully led organizational growth, developed innovative community investment programs, secured strategic partnerships, and guided boards and leadership teams through periods of transformation.
Most recently, as Executive Director of the CPA Ontario Foundation, Wendy led the development of award-winning initiatives designed to expand access to education and professional opportunities for Indigenous and Black students pursuing the CPA designation.
Today, through Purpose by W, Wendy provides fractional executive leadership, strategic advisory services, governance support, and organizational development expertise to organizations looking to grow, adapt, and make a meaningful difference.
